I noticed looking through the new calender, That the first saturday of oct 2006 falls on the 7th. In your opinion will this effect weights? And as a fact ,has a WORLD RECORD ever happened during a later weighoffs? DBH

i dont know about a world record but scott palmers 1443 did not get weighed until oct 10 th this past season.
one week later on a healthy fruit (left hooked up and protected in the patch )is not a big deal. in fact for some it could mean additional weight.

Thats a double edged sword...it could mean more growth or it could mean a big one that goes down before it gets a chanced to be weighed.

We'll be weighing at Clarence on October 7th in 2006. Let's hope the additional 7 days add up to magical weights! Merry Christmas - Ray Waterman
