Hi, hope this hasnt been covered yet but I have gotten conflicting reports about difficulties in sending seed overseas? My local p.o. is pretty clueless about it and their best advise was to "give it a shot" Anyone have any experience in this. I would like to mail seed to Germany. Thanks

No problem with receiving Seed Packages in the EU Member Countries, just make sure that a CN22 Customs Form is completed and attached to the front bottom left of the package. Some US and Canadian Post Offices have told folk that it is illegal to sent Seed Packages to the UK, it is most definately NOT Illegal.

Receiving Seed packets from the US are no problems here in Germany. (Send them out guys,my hands are open, lol) Writing in the green custom form "Pumpkin Seeds / no worth" and mark "Gift" should work.

I have never had a package fail to get here from overseas.
I wonder if recent confusion has been caused by people asking to send Tomato seeds which are subject to some restrictions.

No problems to import pumpkins seeds in Italy, cucurbita maxima is not listed in quarantine plant species submitted to severe borders control. Till now i received all shipments from U.S. or Canada without problems. Happy new year from Italy Paolo

Sent seeds to Poland and Germany no problem. Getting seeds back into the US.....big problems. US customs tends to have it in for us pumpkin growers.

So far I have sent seeds to England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, France and The Netherlands. I simply take them to the Post Office and mail them, no customs sheet or anything. All have arrived safely.
