It depends on what method you use to rate the seeds. I did a ranking of top proven seeds ranked by how many 1,000 pounders they have produced. This ranking method overweights seed lines that have been extensively planted and underweights newer seed lines that have been thinly planted.
This ranking can be found at:
http://home.pacbell.net/diana_do/topseeds.htm
If proven seeds are ranked by the average weight of their top ten offspring, the 723 Bobier ranks first and the 1068 Wallace ranks second.
If proven seeds are ranked by their statistical probability of producing a top weight, the 1068 Wallace ranks number one. See my new probability rankings at:

Hey Vince,
Maybe Dick & Ron could shed some added light on a new twist to this ranking system. There may be no way of ever being sure, but it would be very cool to estimate the number of 723 & 1068 seeds grown to date. Bill Bobier & Ron Wallace must know how many seeds each harvested from their respective fruit.
It would be interesting to learn how many single seeds were grown per 1000 lb fruit recovered.
