Are you willing to share your pumpkin dreams?

Last year about this time I had a dream that I enlarged my patch and planted all the 14XX pumpkins, making all the possible crosses with them, in the dream that was twenty. Well after that it really made me think over the next week. I took it as a challenge and that it was trying to tell me great things would come from it. I changed it to just growing one per plant and went out and found the 14xx series seeds. Next I had to enlarge my patch to grow four more plants. It meant one busy year with the 1432 setting a new record and winning the MN ST Fair at 840 lbs.

I usually dream that A. the plants die a horrible death or B. every store I go into has only pumpkins stacked up in like 15 ft. tall isles! AleX Noel.

I had a dream right before our local street fair weighoff, that I took my pumpkin there and when they put it on the scale it was hollow and only weighed a few pounds....uggggg!!

I had a dream that several of my seeds grew in a pasture without me knowing it and found them.There were many large pumpkns there and one around 1600 pounds. Man I hated to wake up.

i had a dream about one of the prettiest orange punkins i ever saw,wasnt long after this years weigh off,ill say this the wife and i were hummm watching a beautiful nite sky the stars twinkling the full moon shining and it was so romantic standing beside that big orange fruit!hummm i gotta grow orange!

Last year I had a recurring dream that all of my pumpkins rotted and I had nothing to enter. And it came close to coming true. All I had left was a 398! ............ Just a few nights ago I had a dream about my patch flooding.

the dream i keep having is me and sis are late for the weighoff really running late because we have a 1500pd pumpkin sitting in the backyard with no way to move it since its just us and I keep hearing our names being called and that the weighoff which amazingly is right next door to my house is starting but the rules are where suppose to have the pumpkin there. Hopefully i will grow big and face my nightmare head on LOL only then it will be great

i think we all need some form of therapy. although,i can see dreaming your the starting quarterback on your favorite nfl team whos just scored the winning touch down in the super bowl. but pumpkin dreams ?

I had a dream a guy from Mn set a new state record off a 699~~~~~~~ YEA BABBBByyyyyyyyyyyyy!.

Pap, I have dreams of pumpkins all the time, although I cant remember the entire dream its pumpkin related anyhow. Ha!

guilty. i have them all the time, nightmares usually. lol. last week i had dream where i was choosing seeds to plant and i opened a bubble pack and there was a huge seed about the size of a hockey puck and i was thinking this has got to be the one. pretty freaky. i made a similar post last year about pumpkin nightmares where a grower friend of mine and myself got into a fight and we ended up tearing up the patch while wrestling and battling and we both ended up bloody and the patch was destroyed. crazy dream. funny thing is we give each other a lot of crap all the time, but never really even had an argument in real life. silly dreams for a silly person.

Seriously, many of my dreams might have pumpkins in them but they are rarely the main focus. I've got other things to worry about (women) lol -Jim
