Well, you can look on my diary when the pic appears but I have a 9 day old seedling (2 actually) that went 4 days without any light and temps in the 45-60 range. I left and my light went out.
So my question is: are these 2 seedlings worth keeping. You can tell the example I posted is stunted for 9 days. The cots are very oddly leathery but the first true leaf came out very quickly upon 24 hours of quality light exposure.
I am not a fan of planting leggy seedlings but if anyone can give me input or ask me questions on what they look like, you are more than welcome. Wanted to get a little bit quicker start this year but I guess I will start around 1 Feb as I did last year.
Thanks all Ben

I would replant it deep so the leaves are just above the soil like you would to a long tomato plant and keep giving it some light and then after a couple of weeks and see how it is doing then. It may be ok or may not, but I think it would be better to try than not. That way you can get a early start. I know how hot it gets in AZ and the sooner the better. Sometimes the worst seedlings turn out to be real good plants.

Ok, I saw the seedling in your diary. It's a little scrawny but I think it could make it ok. At least you will get some back ups just in case but again the ealier the better in AZ.
