Anyone know if Craig is growing this year? I think he said he was thinking about growing last year, or maybe he ment this year ? Anyone know if the legend producer of the 1260 Weir is growing this year?

I live not far from him, and go to most of the local and regional events and have never seen or met him. He was obviously active before the 1260 as shown by records, but I'm not sure if he had a pumpkin at Topsfield the very next year (02) and don't think he's had them the last couple. Don't hear much talk by other Cape growers either. Always been curious. AleX Noel.

I speak with Craig on occasion. He drops by my buddies patch during the growing season that is in the same town as mine. As of last summer he is spending more time with his children. They are growing up fast and he wants to enjoy them. He still has his patch (not prepped or anything but there) but don't expect any monsters anytime soon. But when he comes back the few 1260's that are left I bet get grown!

he may or may not be growing this year.

but if he is, i'm pretty sure he's going for the gold. someone is going to break 1500 this year, and i have a feeling he's one of the contenders if he decides to jump in again.
