I have heard they can be a real nuisance in the south east. I wish I could get some empress tree seeds. The trees are just about immpossible to find here. The trees I bought cost me a fortune for little 3 inch trees. I want to grow a bunch of them to help filter out the dust from my road in the summer.

No problemo, thanks anyways. Actually, I finally found some seeds at www.horizonherbs.com 200 seeds for $2.85 per packet. So I purchased two packets of seeds. Not sure what their germination rate will be, but it sure beats paying 25 bucks for a 3 inch tree.

Well my empress trees have been growing about a month now. I planted 3 seeds per cell. I must have about 140-200 little trees growing. They are about 1/2 inch tall. I guess it takes them about 10 weeks before they can be planted. If I plant all of these trees and they all grow I'm going to have a real tree plantation. I also have two root cuttings I bought growing they are now about 6 inches tall. They should get to 10-15 feet by July or Aug.
