If there are any Michigan growers out there that I have not already contacted, the Michigan Giant Pumpkin Growers are holding our first ever Winter Meeting & Seminar, Saturday, Feb 11 at 1pm at the Berville Lions Club (near Armada). Lots of good seeds, good information and good growers will be at the meeting. If nothing else, it's a good excuse to sit around and talk pumpkins for an afternoon. Contact myself or Bob Wells for more info... Thanks, Frank

I would like to thank the Bob Wells family and Frank Edwards for putting together a great meeting. It was very informative and great to see so many growers show up.I would also like to thank Gordon Middleton for the use of the Berville Lions Club.It was a great place to hold the meeting.I look forward to visiting some of the other growers patches this summer. Well, the Bob & Frank show can use some fine tuning (if not complete overhaul), but I second you, Steve, on the venue. Can't thank Gordon, Donna & the Berville Lions enough for their hospitality on Saturday. Now that we have a group started in Michigan I think we can expect to see more grower cooperation and ultimately the weights will only go up... Whatever you do, though, Steve, DO NOT reveal Michigan's secret AG breeding plan to take over the AG world!! Don't even breathe a word of its existence. :)

Yeaa...the Frank and Bob show, Frank was calm that Bob guy was nervous.Myself and Tina would also like to thank Gordon, Donna, Ken,the Lions Club, Steve (good sub) and the panel of growers, Joe P,Don, Bill, Chad and Todd. Great to see the amount of interest we had, nice to see the Michigan growers come together. Look for the Frank and Bob show to join up with Joe P. at a patch tour near you.
