out of my gourd

Rockford,il

I plan on using the program this year and hope it gives me the extra help needed. But with a tight schedule I am not sure that I will be able to meet all of the spraying schedule that is necessary.I have also read that growers that use this program do not adhere to it completely, and I was wondering what they dont use. With so many growers using the program I am hoping for some input on what is necessary and what might not be.Thanks for any help,Phil

As a whole the Agro-k program was developed to give to the plant the necessary nutrients it needs all according to the particular stage of growth.
That said, got to www.candjfert.com to the products page, you will find data on each and every product to help you understand the program and how it works.

There are a lot of people using Agro-K products now in their patches. Some of them use the schedule recommended by Agro-K and some don't. It isn't easy to foliar feed 5 or 6 days a week. Some of the things sprayed on the garden can be mixed together. Molasses and Neptune's Harvest can be mixed together with some of the Agro-K products and sprayed the same day. Daconil and triazicide also are compatible with most of the other Agro-K products. But some of the fertilizers precipitate out when mixed together. The Agro-K fertilizers used I believe cannot be mixed together with Vigor Cal or Vigor Cal Plus. Craig, help us out here a little. What can be mixed together and sprayed on simultaneously? I saw something from you about this awhile back.

Phil,
Rather than cutting something out, when I knew time would be short a particular week, I did what Marv mentioned. What might have been scheduled for a Monday and Tuesday would be mixed together and sprayed on one of those days. I tried not to stray too far from what Agro-K recommended, but at times, it could not be avoided.

Ok --Are all the productS necessary---??? YES IF YOU TAKE A LOOK WHAT A plant needs as it grow and make cell walls and getting ready for bloom and packing on the pounds--the plant needs everything it can find --- I have found that 85 -90% of all food is gone that is avaible by the end of june ---BUT!!! I wont argue with anyone --you can make a plant grow on just about any thing--- WOULD STAVE YOUR SELF--?? In the last 5 year there has been 153 people that have used the program out of the 153-- there has been 84 pumpkins grown over a 1000#s and just about the same in the 8-900 range and very few in the 6-700 range may be 20---as far as haveing time to foliar feed---i feed at 10 pm most time before I go to work --4 plants take me about 10 mins tops with a back pack sprayer---as far mixing yep you can --i try never to miss a day --Vc & Vcp can be mix with other fertlizers just fill you tank 3/4 of what your with water of what your going to use--- put vc or vcp in mix--put the rest of the water in --add the fertilzer---spray --no calicum that i know will mix with the phosphate-- it has a reacation with the cal when mix in small amts of water or together at the sme time as far mix your bug and fungie products I WOUNDNT I dont see the need too or why you'd what to --if you have any questions please email me a ph# and good time to call- I HOPE ive helped --craig

Craig:
The reason to mix them at some time during the season is that some people go away on vacation and might be gone for a week or more. Another reason is that there might be rain for 3 or 4 days in a row making it impossible to spray anything and expect it to stay on the leaves. From what you are saying above should I assume that I can mix any of the Agro-K products together as long as I am mixing the products in a spray tank that is 3/4 full of water? You say no calcium and phosphate can be mixed together without precipitating out. Does that mean I can't mix those but the rest I can? I am asking you these questions here as I feel a lot of the growers would benefit from the answers. One more time. Can all of the products be mixed together in a large container of water or can all of them be mixed together except calcium and phosphate products?
Marv, who is mixed up.
