Now that Jerry Dawson was found, where can I find the person from Ontario growing that 400 in 1900? Is he having a handle on BP.com? A member of my family was promised some seeds during a lunch break on the Titanic, but maybe there had been problems with the mail or something. Thank you.

The guy must have been a con, floh. He promised my great-uncle some as well during dinner but never ended up sending them.

Mat, you mentioned an 800lb pumpkin from md grown 2-3 years ago. The top we can find is 389lbs from 2003. Jim

Gosh Jerry forgive me for thinking you grew a beautiful looking pumpkin and for being interested in the seeds. No one said anything about being “promised” seeds. You’re right I don’t know you, and based on the way you didn’t respond to my email and your response here, I don’t care to. Since all the other growers have been so helpful to a new guy I guess I’m just caught a little off guard by you. I think most people, if they chose to post, would say something like, “thanks for the interest in my seeds, but sorry, I don’t have any left.” Never mind I don’t want them anymore.

how about shame on all of you. Orange neck gave no reason for needing contact Dawson in first place. Not everyone is interested in the mess that giving out seeds entails.

Shame on you Fox. You make up fake records to try and scare us Md'ers off. Next year you will be calling orange neck Mr. Orangeneck when you request his seeds.

JerryD, Sorry for my comments as I misunderstood what was going on. This Fox dude has me all confused with his bad attitude towards Mr. Orangeneck. Please enlighten me about the fruit you grew as I might want to request seeds if it is from the 603. Jeff

Fox what mess is that??? Have you ever filled a seed request??? Has anyone ever asked for seeds from your little mellons??? I have asked plenty and have never got denied by any grower. Mark Muller and Mike Frantz sent me so many seeds I'll be covered for 10 years.

Jerry I thought there may have been some misunderstanding, all is fine here. Sorry for the harsh words, I was in a state of shock after being refused before I even submitted a request to you. I had even contacted Mark to see if he knew you, so that I wasn't contacting you out of the blue. I will try to email you. I can be found at [email protected] or [email protected] my work email has a vicious filter. Thanks and talk to you soon.
