Scott Robb or John Evans of Palmer Alaska. A friend (Len Knauss) stopped over today and has had his stuff returned saying address not found.

Also, I am looking for the name of the gadget or gage that shows how much water a plant has taken up over a period of time (day I think). I have seen a posting in here before, but am not sure of the name of the gadget..

a tensiometer and resistometer are two devices that measure the amount of water in the soil. You convert their readings to % field capacity of the soil then usually irrigate when the readings convert to 50-67% of field capacity. I don't think that's quite what your looking for, but I thought I'd mention them anyway.
