Hot peppers, very hot peppers keep me in the growing mode all year, as I have had 5 plants going since December 2003. Yes the same exact plants I started from seed, as they are a perrenial from the country of Guam, and require lots of attention the first year. Will the burn your you know what..lol, well to me they make the habenaro look medium in heat. The reason I love these is the expression I get on face of people when they eat one, or actually a quarter of one at which time they have had enough gasp and cry, yet the whole pepper is only 1.5 inches long and the size of a pencil yellow in color which turns fire orange in late fall. The hotter the better is the best pepper to me, and all of my taste test victims.lol

My giants, other than pumpkins, are cabbage, sunflowers, tomatoes, watermelons.

As far as the regular garden, I started planting this week. So far I've done snow peas, carrots, green onions, romain lettuce, and mesclun. Spinach will be planted next week. Cabbage and kholrabi are started indoors and up about 2". They'll go out next week. Tomatoes are just sprouting today.
