The Daffodils, Forsynthia and half the orchard is now in full bloom!! The Ryegrass is coming up strong - loving the 2" layer of compost we put over it!

I find myself skipping and singing in joy!

We've cleaned out the huge compost piles in half of the paddocks and spread them on the lawns and flower/herb gardens last week... Getting ready to clean out the rest of the paddock compost piles this coming weekend - and get the pumpkin patch areas set up...

and the greatest thing about this spring??? My back DOESN'T hurt!!!

I'm so glad the Hubby talked my into letting him buy that New Holland skid Loader (AKA "the bobcat').. This is the first time I've had a man VOLUNTEER to 'work' in the gardens! (sitting on his b*** the whole time **grin**)
