I heard of a gourd called coyote gourds and they grow wild down there I guess? If you know anything about them, and may be able to send me some seeds or an actual gourd itself, please email me. I live in Pennsylvania and I will pay for all shipping and handling costs. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Lauralie,
Try doing a Google search for:
Cucurbita foetidissima
Lots of hits. Even some people selling seeds on (WHERE ELSE?) eBay....LOL...Don't worry, even if someone here can't send you some (unlikely) there are some real deal seed merchants selling them 10 for $2.00.
These do run wild all over the Southwest. They're also called Buffalo, Missouri, even Railroad vine for its habit of growing in dry desolate areas like raod sides.
In PA, I would grow it in a sandy poor soil with no irrigation & full sun.
