The only type of variety that my collection seems to be missing - is those varieties that are well-documented for producing bi-colored pumpkins/squash.
Does anyone have some seed of that to share?

Green & Orange? If so, one of our club members (Matthew DeBacco) grew one with very clean lines of demarkation a couple years ago. Most I have grown have instead faded gradually from greenis to whitish to a weak orange.
Matt's was a nice orange & green in patches almost like a Jersey Cow.
Is this what you're looking for?
Let me see if I can find a picture.

I've emailed a link to this thread to the grower. He's a very busy student so you'll not hear back for a couple days.

shannon- that year Barbie grew a 1700 pumpkin and Ken grew a 1500 squash ... plus the calico ... I forget the weight on it... all 3 were new world records in the Barbie and Ken world ... the bar raised significaly by them that year. I'm still working on guenius to get them officially reconized.

Here's a pumpkin I grew from the 933 McMullen. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=29566 I think I still have a 933 left.

Looks like the student has plenty of seeds from that bi-colored. And doesn't want them!He also has plenty of OrangeXOrange ancestry seeds available - which would be very good for crossing on the greenies for the F-1 generation.
Where do I get a very LARGE SASBE - and how much postage for say 100 seeds or so?

I'd use a box if individually packaged. If it's 100 seeds in a baggie or something though, it's not bigger than those 12 X 18 bubble packs. Man I wish I had space like that! How much sf. per plant are you doing? AleX Noel.
