As some of you might have seen a few days ago I posted a thread about the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk and my wifes participation in it. Many of the good folks from this site have since contributed to my wifes fund raising campaign. Each participant this August will walk for three consecutive days at 20 mile incriments, and all monies raised will go to help find a cure for this terrible disease. A truely magnificant person has since E-mailed me privately on his idea as to how we can raise even more money towards my wifes walk for a cure. Eddy Z has come forth with ELEVEN sets of multiple seeds! Each set of seeds will be placed in a thread of it's own on the RAFFLE AND AUCTIONS board. Bidding will begin as soon as the lots are posted (March 27th 2005). The auction will run for TEN days and will end on April 7th 2005 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern time. Anyone who would like to bet on these lots just post to the thread that is attached to the seeds of your choice and at the end of 10 days the highest bidder wins the lot! I will contact each winner at the end of the auction so we can discuss how and where the seeds need to be distributed. All checks from the winners will be made out to the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk.
Now for some of the fun!! I have also put up a 848 McKenzie squash seed that was donated from Bob himself to me over the winter for this great cause. Oh did I mention that there is a 723 BOBIER up for bid!! :) So take a look over at the board and happy bidding and many thanks! If anyone has any questions please feel free to E-mail me.

Some great seeds listed!
Are these all from Eddy Z's personal collection?
Are these seeds going to be sent from Canada?? If so, is a phyto certificate going to ensure they cross the border legally, and get to the winner of the lot(if it's someone from the U.S.)?

All seeds but the 848 are from Eddy Z'z collection the 848 is from my own collection.

They will all be sent from inside the Unites states.

Yeas the seeds are from my own collection.
For the most part, all came from growers or auctions.
The 723 came directly from Bill Bobier.
If you have any questions about the seeds, post it here, let every body see the questions.
The 1101 Northrup, as you see there are many listed, Bill sent me 10. when he didn't need to send me any.
I will forward these seeds to Drew in Niagara, he will mail them from the U.S. this is to speed up the process, so all seeds get to the growers in time for planting
This is for a great cause, there is no one out there that Cancer hasn't touched, so think of the cause, more than the seed. There has been some awsome people in this community that have had Cancer, and unfortunately there are some that will, so lets think of them.

good idea and great cause!! my mom is a breast cancer survivor (she was going through chemo when i met nick. i had to explain to him that "she normally has hair") she is going to hit the 5 yr mark of being cancer free this summer !!! yay !!
