After some encouragement from Dr Wang, I searched for several hours through the massive university electronic resources databases.
And what did I find????
An article 'update' on Genes of Pumpkin and Squash! Seems there are over 79 loci for phenotypic/morphological traits and 48 polymorphic allozyme loci... (laymen's terms - a bunch of genes that can work either singly or together or both)
Everything from color, to shape, to infertility, to disease/pest resistance and all in-between have been studied!
I'm working my way through it all. And I will find out if the authors will give their permission for me to scan it in and load it onto this site...

Right now I'm working on understanding it fully myself! So many gene-interactions to sort through...
And there's many genes researched in the C.pepo that aren't researched in the C.Maxima (Inhibitor fruit color gene is one example) Yet, people have been using that data to explain C.maxima inheritance. May be the same - may not be...
