Here's some pumpkins I consider to be outstanding based on looks(my criteria is color and shape). I'm basing this on pictures I've seen.
650 Muller 654 Troy 659 Troy 670 Daigle 710.5 Companio 846 Calai 953 Langevin 953 Whittier 1074 Calai 1125 Frantz 1233.3 Reiss
I'm sure I'm missing some beauties here. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Speaking of the 654 and 659 Troy, the 528 Little is from the same seed (940 Mombert '00)...and was quite good-looking if I do say so myself. An offspring of it won best of show at the Southern Ohio weigh-off last year. (shameless plug)

Some very pretty ones mentioned. I particularily agree on the 601 Rahe and 487 Zunino. I don't know how I forgot these. They both had great color, and classis pumpkin(barrel shape).

I've been to every weighoff in Anamosa, and last year I thought I had about the best looking pumpkin ever on an 808 Beachy. Then it sprung a leak 5 days before weighoff. Then at the weighoff, I saw Mike Frantz's 781. For shape, color, ribs, etc. nothing I have seen can even come close.

1225 Jutras, my 1125 and 781 are my top three picks. My 781 has both the 1225 and 1125 in them. I also was amazed the first time i seen pics of the 1273 Howard. Those 1370's sure throw VERY nice looking pumpkins.

The 731 is a heck of an aggressive plant. I grew it 3 years ago and loved it and the deep orange fruit...that 481 is NICE :0) 1225 does get a high nod too, as well as Mike's 781.

1225 tops them all in shape, size & color, but most offspring is not nearly as vibrant as momma. I'm sure it has a little something to do with that 845 pollinator... Doug, are you looking for a list of great looking pumpkins? Or seeds that consistently throw great looking pumpkins? Two different lists... AGGC has a new "Top Producers" query which shows which seeds produce the most consistently for color/variance. Shows degree of homozygosity for a given trait...an excellent breeding tool. Frank

Thanks Frank, and everyone. I was looking for the best looking pumpkins grown. I checked out the feature on the AGGC, that is quite interesting.
