First I would like to apologize to all those that have emailed me requesting copies of the seminars. I have had some problems capturing the video, not to mention working an average of 60 hours a week lately. I have had to make some major upgrades to my computer to provide a product worth it's weight. Five hundred dollars later I am happy to say the capture is beginning tonight. Because of time constraints I am only able to offer it in DVD format, no VHS (well, maybe VHS but don't count on much). The DVD will have both the beginners seminar featuring Mr. Jerry Rose and Mr. Dave Stelts sharing their pumpkin growing souls, as well as the PowerPoint presentation. Also included will be the advanced growers seminar featuring Dr. Ribeiro who specializes in plant pathology (including pumpkins!). Of course, there will also be the three PowerPoint presentations from the advanced seminar on the DVD covering pumpkin composts, fertilizers and diseases. As I mentioned in an earlier post, several minutes of Dr. Ribeiro's presentations audio are missing, however, the PowerPoint presentations cover the missed audio quite nicely. So, provided nothing else hampers the effort, DVD's should be available within a week to ten days. Believe it or not, it looks to be two to three DVD's long! Approximately 6 hours of pumpkin growing knowledge from some of the best minds in the business. I have not determined a final price yet because I don't know how many disks it will take for each copy. I do feel confident that the final cost will be very attractive for this much information. Interested parties should contact me via email. If you have contacted me previously, please do so agian, as I have had to replace my hard drive and have not had time to import my email from the old drive. Again, I apologize for this.

Yet another update...the beginners seminar has been captured, edited and burned to DVD. I will watch it tomorrow while the advanced seminar is capturing to make sure it's OK. It barely fit onto one DVD even after reducing the video quality a little. So it looks like the package will contain 2 DVD's and one CD with the powerpoint presentations. I tried to marry the powerpoint into the video, but the file became way to big. Talk about time consuming. It takes 3 hours to capture the video, 3-4 hours to edit it, 4 hours just to save it to disk and another 3 hours to burn it to DVD. That's per seminar. So, after I have captured, edited and saved the advanced seminar, it will take about 6 hours per DVD set to burn. Plus however long it takes to burn all four powerpoint presentations to CD. Stay tuned for further updates...
