On Friday, April 7 the California growers will be offering a limited number of packets of great seeds. Along with the seeds you will have the chance to win one of the following seeds: 845 Bobier, 670 Daigle, 1225 Jutras, 1104.5 Hester, 869.5 Calai, and 735 Pukos. Details of the seeds to be included in the seed packet will be posted here on Friday...if you want one you'd better be ready to get your order in the mail on Saturday!!! Seeds will be mailed to U.S. addresses in time for planting this year. Proceeds from this sale will go toward the prize purse for a new California Growers contest.

Here is one of the seeds that will be included: 552 Ceja '04 (846 Calai x 723 Bobier). It has been grown once and produced the 1181 Urena. That's what I call batting a thousand!

I've had a couple of e-mails from Canadian growers who are wondering if the 50 seed packs are going to be first-come-first serve. The answer is yes, but since I know that foreign mail can be very slow, if you live outside of the USA and would like to get a couple of days head start, e-mail me and I will tell you how to order a seed pack.
