Here are my soil test reults from this spring. Let me know what you think I should do or not do. The reading in parenthises are last Octobers readings.
C.E.C 41.3 (15.1) OM 6.9 (3.3) pH 8.1 (7.6) Lime Index 70, Same
These next reading are in pounds per acre. P 455 (197) K 635 (867) Ca 12,589 (4426) Mg 2192 (699) So4S 371 (19) B 26 (2.9) Cu 17.5 (4.5) Mn 81 (114) Zn 99.9 (14.9) Ca Sat'n 76% (73%) Mg Sat'n 22% (19%) K Sat'n 2% (7%) Base Sat'n 100% Ca/Mg 3.4 (3.8) Mg/K 11.3 (2.6) Fe 178 (185)
I still plan to add some peat moss to help with the pH.
Here is what I added last fall: Leaves, Grass, Manure, N-Viro Soil (This is very high in heavy metals and Calcium, but due to the pH that My soil is or what I will keep it at this is not a large problem as these elemts are only released in a high amount when the pH is lower than 6.) I also added enough sulfur to lower the pH one half point and I added a 40 lb. bag of gypsum.
Please let me know what you would do or not do, or if you need anymore info to give me your answer.
Thanks, Mikkal

Looks like you like math.

At 8.1 your soils ph is to high. You can have nutrient deficiencies when your soil is so Alkaline at 8.0 or above.

I missed the peat part. Adding peat moss is a good plan. It's acidic, so hopefully you will get down below 8.0 ph ok.

n-viro soil is considered a liming material... aka raise your pH. I wouldn't add any more of that. I'd get some more elemental sulfur or some aluminum sulfate to get your pH down.

I know Briggite, but the N-Viro soil will come down to a pH of about 7.5 when it is completly done. That is really the only bad thing with the N-Viro soil other than that it really helps poor soil. Thanks for the replys.
If anyone else has anything to add please go ahead all Ideas are welcome!
Thanks, Mikkal
