Howdy everyone......I'm looking for some companies that sell Shade tarps,,,i had some info before but i seem to have misplaced them.....currently i use just regualar blue tarps but i think that we are wanting to use something else....Most of the companies that i have researched were quite expensive and i'm looking for a cheaper route....

Any and all info will be appreciated....

I bought a giant roll of shade cloth about $300 the whole roll at Home Depot. I then cut it to fit. We used plastic grouments and rope to tie it up. Will take pictures later this season. The cloth is lighter and cheaper than blue tarps.

Do you have a menards near by, or home depot. That is where we got our shade tarps for the hoophouse and greenhouse shed.

I know what you mean. . . they can get a little pricey try this company, I got some shade cloth from them last year and it wasn't too badly priced. I hope this helps.

I've always gotten mine from Wal-Mart or Northern Tool Co....both are reasonably priced.

A good place to get a shade cloth is Progress Growers Supply. They will custom make one for you. I bought a 30'x30' last year and they were the cheapest place I could find. They will put as many groumlets as you want. Mine is 30% block. There number is 1-800-666-4178. Their website is:
