Hello all
I mowed the cover crop (winter rye) on Monday and tilled it in yesterday how long before I can plant or does it matter?? I need to get the state fair plant started this weekend. But if I cant plant it in the patch yet I will hold off

I would go ahead and plant it now. If the rye ties up some nitrogen and your plant looks yellow, you might need to add a little more N fertilizer. Good luck!
