Hi guys. Just out of curiosity, does anybody know who this is? AOL addresses get auto added to my buddy list when I e-mail them, but I don't remember e-mailing this one. This person is on 24/7, but there is always a sign that they are on the phone? Just curious. Thanks (e-mail me if you know), AleX Noel.

AleX. As you know i am on AOL too and get so many 'Auto Add's' that i just ignore them now as any effort in trying to ask these folk who they are is a total waste of time. I know that curiosity over who these folk may be gets the better of us but in the long run it's best to just ignore them. Oh, i think i also had [email protected] auto added to my Address Book but did not find out who and/or they were.

Hmm, didn't know they could do that? I just figured the "pump" part meant it was a grower. Now that I look, there are a couple similar situations on my "buddy" list. Thanks, AleX.

I wouldn't trust AOL half as far as I could throw them. AOL came free with my last computer & I uninstalled it immediately.
As a Pumpkin club President & a Cubmaster, I have valid reasons to email distribution lists with 50+ members. Yet AOL sees this as a mass spamming & has blocked me from emailing ANY AOL user. When the recipient is blocked, AOL doesn't bother to notify the recipient that they were "protected", so the communication failure goes unnoticed.
At least with my cable company I can add anyone I want to a Safe Sender list. But AOL doesn't seem to offer this. That or they make it so complicated that their clients don't know how to rectify the situation.
It's like Glenn always said....AOL sux.

LOL! Friends may not let friends, but my parents pay the internet bill, not me or my friends. I have no say in the matter! AleX.
