Is it true that there is more salt in the feed pellets than in alfalfa meal powder?

Dave, like unkadan said, my source of alfalfa meal has no additives but the pellets and cubes had additives including salt. They did have some pellets without additives but it was going to be a special order so I just went with the alfalfa meal at $9.00 per 40 lb. bag from Otter Coop.
Talk to you soon/Glenn

Stay away from salted feeds, in as much as possible. You get enough salts passed through the animal due, to salted feed they eat, in their manure.

I checked the Rabbit Food label today Max salt content .50% I would not worry about it. I had heard somewhere the salt content was alot higher than this to increase the intake of water.
