I have used it. Well, in my high heat area it burned my leaves even with very diluted concentrations. It is "ok" as a fungicide/insecticide, but it doesn't work near as good as the non organic stuff I have used.

Hey Ed,

How frequently did you apply the Neem to achieve good Powdery Mildew control?

I used neem last year, once a week, with baking soda, I think it was two tablespoons per gallon. I also read, just using baking soda works as well. I have read on here just about anything will help control PM, just need to change the PH a little

Does anyone PH balance the water they use to water with? Like when you make a "tea" is anyone checking the PH and then correcting it?

I HAVE USED NEEM OIL....following the label instructions, for years, on nearly everything, in my gardens. I even use it as a dormant spray and pink bud spray on my fruit trees. The instructions on label or from Goggle Search and discovery, of detailed use instructions goes without saying: "yep the instructions need to be followed"

Using Neem Oil I reduce the use of harsher chemicals significantly. On the pumpkin patch I have never been able to totally eliminate harsher chemicals at points where it appears Neem Oil may not be holding the line. On two of four growing years we almost made it without any harsh chemicals. I wish I knew why or how.

The theory, of stronger healthier soil seems, to be the key but my key has never quite fit the lock perfectly. :) Keep working, in that direction.

Please note that I ran and still do run completely organic other vegetable beds and flower planted areas and foundation plantings. Thirty years or more on this property without using harsh chemicals simply, by elimination of the few items that seem to require fungicides above light organic type products. Most of those areas are under no till permanent mulch management.

I used 70% neem oil every 3 days from June 29th thru July. I then switched to Remedy for the rest of the season. I had PM in Sept. but the plant leaves were not damaged badly by PM.
