its noon, its 39 Degrees outside, raining buckets and only getting colder throughout the day...forecasted snow for tonight...i am at school in MN...pumpkins at home under the care of my parents....very anxious situation for me. My parents are going to refuse to go out in the rain to cover the plants inside the hoophouses and then remove the covers in the morning before they go to work...so...lets hope the little plants survive!!! Oh this sucks. They should be fine...it will have to get real cold to get through the hoophouses. HIghs in the 40's-50's next few days with low's around 35 ish....plants will be set back a bit with this cool weather.

Question....if one covered the plants tonight and kept them in complete darkness for 48 straight houses...they should be ok right?

ok....off to take a final...

Yup Case made it ok,,32 for a low last night, Who knows how much moisture? Had an inch of wet white stuff everywhere this morning. Main concern was the wind and loosing power or a whole hoop,,,lol.
Cloudy day with high less than 40 once again low 30's for tonight and the next few days ain't too exciting either. My highlite today is getting 1,000 lbs of worm castings delivered !!!
