I made a post on the seed starting board, but I'm going to post on here too. I tried using the seed sprout packets from pumpkinsupply.com this year with the worst results possible. I'm trying to figure out if It's something I did or if there'a problem with the packets. Of all the seeds I put in the packets, only the 805 Pukos and 500 Wallace have done anything, and that was after I gave up on the packets and planted them in peat pots. Unfortunately, the chance that they will survive is close to zero. If anyone has any idea what happened, please let me know. Thanks. Tom

Hi Tom I have had such a packet too and all I can say that I was lucky enough to trust in the methods I have had the best results in my germation tests in winter (moist papertowel). I put some of my own backup seeds in the speed sprout package with NO results, not even after threee weeks. All my other seeds sprouted. I tried everything to get those backups sprouted too, and no way. Nough said.

a different note...I tried those rapid rooter plugs and no results....i soaked them in warm water...put in seed sideways and planted them in 4" peat pots....nothing! where did I go wrong? Lots of people have been having good results with them. What did I do wrong?
