It was warmer and dryer than usual for the month of April and the first week of May here in Central Pennsylvania, but that has changed. Last week was cool and rainy with more of the same scheduled for this coming week.

In the last 10 days, low temps of: 15, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, and 28 degrees. Lost some leaves to the freeze one night when I had a heater malfunction.

i had been wondering how the east coast was doing because i keep seeing on the weather channel about all your flooding. here it has been non-stop rain for a week with this week looking not much better. so its a choice to let the plants get pot-bound by keeping them in or let them drown by putting them out (i have 2 more in pots still). no winning situation.

"Haven't seen the sunshine sense I don't know when" Actually I do, it was last Tuesday. This front is suppose to move out on Wednesday. We should get a few days of sunshine before the next front. It's a good thing the patch is on hight ground.

The town of Goffstown, NH has closed all traffic into the town, along the Merrimac River one farm is under 4-5 feet of water in Litchfield.

Last several days have been windy, cloudy, cold and wet. At least it is slowing down the cucumber beetles.

We just keep getting pounded. As Jim says, 9+ inches of rain for May and rain in the forecast for the next 7 days. It's also very cool with highs in the 50's. My 4 plants are out in the garden, but are not showing any growth, with yellowing of the new leaves that are forming. Luckily, My garden is very sandy and drains well, but I'm sure some in NH are under water.

We've been fortunate to have this storm stay northeast of us here in Fairfield County, CT. We haven't seen the sun, but as of yesterday we only received 5 inches of rain so far. Of course it's pouring as I type so this too shall change. All of our railroad-over-road crossings flood every time the tide is high.
In some coastal & river communities this is the New England version of Katrina minus FEMA & looters.

The rain keeps falling and the pumpkin leaves keep getting yellower. The rain seems to never end. I heard somewhere that there were 305 school closings in New England today because of the water levels. Too bad I still have school.... Hope everyone is doing well

I hate to brag, but here on the left coast, after almost drowning this winter and spring, have enjoyed 70's and 80's for a few weeks now, I have already picked a few strawberrys (only planted two weeks ago, I have tomatoes the size of BIG cherries, now if I could just grow a f-ing huge pumpkin life would be great

Here in Indiana it's been cool and wet for the last 8 days in a row! The forcast is beginning to look decent though. They are saying mid 70's by the weekend and no rain. Now if we can just make it through this week! LOL

Rain has stopped here in Southern Maine on Tuesday after 12.5 inches in only 4 and 1/2 days . 16 in. since the 1st of May. The rest of the state got off lucky with only 1 day of rain . So. Maine , N.H. , Mass , & R. I. got pounded hard. Don't expect to transplant into the garden till first week of JUNE !!!
