Da Wiz and I have been talking pumpkins on a regular basis and we know there are much more experienced growers in the State. We hope to become competitive but also grow just for the pure pleasure of getting our hands in the dirt. My questions are, if you don’t mind sharing: What are you growing ? How are your plants currently doing? Are you planning on attending the Colorado Springs weigh-off? Will a new Colorado State record be set this year?
I am growing the 1173 Macari as my primary plant and a 1233.5 Reiss as a backup/pollinator Running a little late, will have the plants in the patch this week. Planning on the Springs weigh-off
Thanks Kirk

Yo LB, Im a new grower in Colorado, first year to enter into a GPC event...I hope. I got growin a 1233.59 Reiss, see bigger than yours :) already. A 1209 Kline and a pair of Langevin seeds my sweetie told me Im going to plant since Santa brought them on the 25th. The Langs have the 1097 beachy in them and are looking good. All are in the ground with their 3rd real leaf. Grow'em big. C U in the Springs.
