If you are familar with this disease please post what you know, i will be posting some pics in my diary in a couple of days and would like some feed back please.

What are the causes?
What are the cures?
What does it look like?
What is the outcome, the end result of this disease?

Peter very unlikely you have powdery mildew this time of year nothing surprizes me. Normally due to hot humid weather will spread like wild fire so take action soon normally in wisconsin it is july before there are any concerns of pm. Rotating different fungicides like Daconil eagle ectone week eagle one week Daconil. will help if the plant is still sort of small remove the infected leaves normally one would wait to remove the leaves near the stump until the plant is abite bigger but if you can get rid of it now it may not spur it ugly head later. If you have them in a giant cold fram I would remove the cold fram unless there is a chance of frost this maybe why you have conditons that are perfect for the spread and developement of PM you may want to go with removing every other side vine this will allow more air movement between the leaves normmally PM is spread by the rubbing of infected leaves or the splashing of water from one leaf to the next. With that thought try not to water over head. best of luck with your problem ...mark
