I checked my plants and it looks like these four plants will bloom their fruit tomarrow.
200 Lawerce in garden, 440 George in secondary patch, 861 Fredricks (950 Boyton x 731 Stucker) 200 Lawerce in main patch.
To pollinate them I will have these male flowers
200 Lawerce (950.4 Boyton x 620 boyton ?) 440 George (950.4 Boyton x 736 Garrell) 759.4 Wolf (1180 Daletas x 1260 Weir) 1248 Ford (897 Davies x 664 Ligget) 568 Perez (658 Emmons x 950.4 Boyton) 716 Makarchuk (658 Emmons 98 x 568 Perez 03) 626 Bosworth (1446 Eaton x 1260 Weir)
So do any of you have an idea what would make a good cross for my 4 fruits for tomarrow?

This is what I'm thinking of doing as of tonight.
200 Lawerce x 759.4 Wolf
440 George x 1248 Ford
861 Fredricks x 626 Bosworth
The 861 has two fruits so for the second one I will do
861 Fredricks x 440 George
And for the 200 Lawerce in main patch
200 Lawerce x 568 Perez

Whar are your goals? Color? Weight? Precent heavy?
440 George x 1248 Ford looks interesting.
If you look at the hierarcy trees of these plants you'll see a LOT of simiolarities. I'm no genetics expert & haven't time to roll the lines today. Maybe someone else will be able to today?

I'm going to pollinate in about 3 mins. I could not pass up crossing the 440 with the 1248 Ford. The 1248 has great genetics. My 440 is a growing great and is a super looking plant. I have a lot of goals (like crossing with the 950.4 Boyton, but I have to go with what is blooming right now. The Boyton 950.4 is no where near ready. In a few days or in a week I will pollinate some more fruits. I don't know how long my pollination window will last. When the heat hits it's almost impossible to pollinate here even with ice and shading the fruit.

Well only the 440 George opened up. The 861 Fredricks and 200 Lawerces will be ready tomarrow it looks like so if any of you have any ideas/2 cents on pollination using the male flowers minus the 1248 Ford feel free to post up. I'm looking for genetics or weight when applying the cross. Thanks.
