I know there are many variables but ball park figure, about, how long should my main vines be by now? They are only about 6 inches or so and the leaves are not very big and they were planted about 2 weeks ago. Thanks.

RootbeerMaker:
One plant has a vine about 1ft, another plant is slightly less than a foot and my third not even 'down'. I hope you aren't setting yourself up for disappointment because sometimes plants just don't grow at the same rate. And, your plant is still alive and growing and hasn't hit it's stride. In my experience, late June and most of July is when I see the animalistic vegetative growth. Hope you grow a monster!

Vine growth is almost exponential, if you know what I mean. It starts slow, then gradually picks up speed. At two weeks, you are prably about right; however you should see a dramatic increase in growth very soon. As soon as 'plants start to run" they will start off growing 3"-4" per day and increase to over a foot per day, depending of course on conditions. I hope this helps John
