The 670 Diagle is my best plant right now with the 1273.5 Howard and 848* Mackenzie following very closely. So far this year my plants look twice as good three weeks earlier than last year!

I have a race between 4 plants, but i think the 125 Wolf is just slightly ahead of the rest....1173 macari, 1042 neuville, and 969 Ailts just behind...in no particular order.

1101 Northrup and 670 Daigle are dukin' it out but the 1101 has the gal. 846 Calai and 642 Simpson are close behind. 1260 has hit high gear and is knocking at the cold frame to escape. 250 Rys suffers from a broken main, second main stepping up to the plate nicely.

1157 Is a yellow vine Beast! Following along in a hovel of a site is the 1420 La Rue, The back up 1180 and 611.4* are coming along. Just hope I didn't kill all of them this week end with all the weeding, pruning and fertilization pushing! Plus it rained like a Ba$t^rd Saturday lightning big time and .89" in the rain gauge.

Out of the ~75 seeds listed there are a few 1180, 1068 and 1173's. But the thing that pops out is the diversity.
321 Bohnke 338 Rahe 440 George 471 Beachy* 500 Beauchemin 2 500 Wallace 531 Rahe 581 Young 642 Simpson 646 Pistano 650 Muller 670 Daigle 2 691 Duchezeau 698 Beauchemin 699 Bosworth 703 Berard 710 Companion 748 Kotch* 2 781 Frantz 2 800 Diefenbaugher 805 Pukos 822 Shroeder 839 Hunt 842 Eaton 846 Calai 848 Mckenzie 914 Sandvik 919 Wallace 933 Bobier 969 Altis 979 Berard 982 Rodonis 983 Pukos 990 Swartz 1016 Deletas 1017 Larue 1027 Beachy 1042 Sherwood 2 1042 Neuville 1068 Wallace 4 1081 Leonzi 2 1101 Northrup 1104 Hester 1124 Hester 1127 Glassier 1139 Sherwood 1142 Van Kooten 2 1157 1164 Mckenzie 1173 Macari 5 1178 Rivard 1180 Deletas 7 1187 Werner 1193 Vader 1225 Jutras 3 1238 Brunst 1247 Handy 125X Wolf 1253 Sperry 2 1254 Checkon 1260 Weir 1274 Howard 1287 Van Kooten 1314 Beauchemin 2 1327 Dueck 1354 Checkon 1370 Rose 2 1407 ? 1420 Larue 3 Just an observartion. Probably not 100% accurate as I took this cut very quickly...
As for my plants... Best is not a good gauge because I got a slow start (1370 and 670 looking good though).

Ditto Mr. D...lol at Emma... second, the original question was..."what is your best growing plant". Sorta thought that meant "a" "single" "one" plant that is growing the best??? For me right now, considering the number of days the plant has been up and growing, I would have to say my 670 is as perfect plant as I have ever had at this stage....secondaries a little larger on the E. side than the west...I can live with that.... Grow 'em BIG...Peace, Wayne
