I just held a 21 gun salute for my 1233 Reiss plant ( sorry Martin). This plant was the fastest grower in the patch and then suddenly my leaves started wilting a few at a time until today when all the leaves were wilted. I have not seen one cuke beetle all season so I can't figure out what happened. It is a shame since I was looking forward throughout the winter to growing this plant. Oh well time to concerntrate on the other three plants.

Most likely culprit....bacterial wilt! Happens all the time in my patch......so far so good this year!
