Hi all, I hope everyones pumpkin plants are growing strong. A few days ago, I wrote to you that the folks at the Television Food Network were looking for 10-20 Jack O'lanterns of approximately 10-20 pounds. A number of you replied with a variety of giants or single pumpkins They haven't had much luck, and are now desperate. They are now looking for "ANY"" pumpkins. If you have some, Email me privately, and I will get you in touch with them. If you know of Australian or NZ growers, please pass along their email addy. Thanks! Bob Matthews [email protected]

Bob,
I know this sounds arrogant, and for that I apologize, but this happens every year. Why don't these film producers "plan ahead?" and shoot when pumpkins are in an abundant supply for the following TV season? They just don't seem to get it!

Or you could look at it this way Kilr: Maybe some of us will wise up and put some pumpkins in cold storage, for times like these. Maybe it would be lucrative. I wonder how long pumpkins would keep in ideal storage conditions. Good luck Bob.
