I have heard several different rumors on number of leaves and pumpkin sizes. What is the real truth from the growers out there. I do know that the leaf size seems to depend on the amount of sun that is available. I had some leaves last year that went over 30" across I believe due to being under a tree and the plants desire to be a photo cell.

I'm not sure... Some of my plants from the smallest of GPs have gigantic leaves (150 Peck) - whereas other plants (like the Mudd 1008.5) have had rather small leaves for the second year in a row...

Full sun - Same patch.
