Had a big thunder storm here last night with some heavy wind. One of my plants sustained damage to a few big leaves. The leaf stems kinked and fell over about half way between the leaf and vine. I have not removed them yet. Should I just leave them be or cut them completely off and tie the end of the stems closed to prevent insects from getting inside?

leave them be, if they whither up, then cut em off, and leave the cut open, to dry out

i was gonna say what garysand said, which still applies, but the sticks idea was pretty clever! try that first--eric
