Subject: All Hail breaks loose in Colorado.....

Well folks......this will set me back a bit....got 2" of hail and 2" of sideways rain on Saturday from a storm that doubled back on me....I have never seen it come from the North with such speed and force.....I watched the clouds head due northeast...had sunshine behind me....went to cut the grass.....1/2 hour later mother nature breaks loose.....I did manage to cover the tips of all 4 plants......but I sacrificed a lot of garden.....Ole Longbeard visited to pay his condolences......This is not the way to remove white fly infestation nor the burnt leaves......****WARNING**** What you see will make you cry.....it did me........Da Wiz Pics coming soon....not so shure about the kins

Get down on your hands and knees, re-burry the vines and go with what you have. You will be surprised at the recovery. The only other option is not nice. Sorry you got hit but you are not virgin with this problem.
Tony Ciliberto did what I suggested, to you, three years ago and wound up with just under 1000 lbs. at the weigh off. The only thing holding his plant was the stump. Every thing else was whirrly giged and all twisted and slashed beyond belief.

I buried right before it hit, Im trimming coverin and sprayin seaweed tonight.......I needed to get rid of those dang flies somehow.....lol...we are supposed to have more of the same weather all week, I figure I got mine done early........Ill keep the recover pics coming......I aint givin up....I got a weigh-off to show up to...Mine

Dwain, Knows what hes talking about, every year i start doing a whole lot at once , and start messing up,Then i go back to the basic growing sheet that he sent me, and it all works like a charm! Thank you Mr Gipe!

These are such amazing plants..they are wanting to grow with nothing but a thread of life....I covered all the vines as bruised and batttered as they were but they wanted to grow....and I will give them my best..... I sprayed with fish tonight as it was on Craigs plan....I can do no better than to stay the course....I am growin something this year.. What a mess !! That was a "hit" on all your gardens, hang in there and you'll make it for October.
I'll do my best to see that next year you have some Bowles seeds for growing on W.Bowles Avenue.

Good luck on your plants recovery, I was upset when my plants got it, but my hail was nothing compared to yours, Take care.
