I need to water my patch tommorrow, via overhead sprinkler. It's been quite hot here lately(97 degree F today). When is it best to water? I'm thinking tommorrow morning will be most convenient for me, but would like to hear your thoughts. Is near midday out of the question?

Early to mid morning is the best time I'd say, gives all afternoon through the evening for the leaves to dry real well. But if you are talking mid 90's for temps. mid day would give you more cooling time for the plants.

A timer is the sweet answer, to this question. Set it up and walk away with just a little local experience.
