Which is more important?
My plants didn't get transplanted into the garden until the 3rd week in May. 2 of the 4 are growing pretty well and 1 of those 2 now has a little lady set to open in about 5-7 days. My main is about 10' with 3 sets of secondarys about 5-7' and getting shorter from there.
So should I pollinate this female in the first week of July even though the plant is on the smallish side or wait 2-3 weeks for a larger plant and shorten the growth time of the fruit?
Thanks, Chad

Pollinate it, you can always cull it later if you get a better one further down the vine.

All Kidden aside, gilmore... Pollinate everything you can with the males/females available at the time..... Or sleep in and let the Bees do it the natural way.....
