Hi, Not sure how far along my pumpkins should be at this point in the season. Could someone please provide me with some personal growing stats - day/size (circumference)
Thanks

Tom: I think most stuff in our area is 10 days old or younger. If you've got something set and softball to volleyball size you are right on track...(You want at least 20" circumference at 10 days from pollination.)
Frank
As for me, I'm still looking for a late set...(and a warm September!)

Thanks for the quick response! Currently, I’ve got 12 pollinated, but only one that is of any size. It was pollinated on the 4th and measured 19” circ. this morning. The next two largest ones are roughly 8-9” circ. on day 4. Are there any “target” numbers/days that I should be basing my progress off from?

Do a search on google
benchmark size site:www.bigpumpkins.com
Put that whole thing in the box and it will search for those terms only on this site. Could change to "10 day" or "20 day" or "growth chart" There are many many good OLD posts that give this info. Using the Google advanced search works very well and allows for multiple search terms. Look in the newbie section as well as there are a couple recent posts for this topic there as well. Grow 'em big!

nacho, The day 9 number sounds decent, but not smoking(this could change though). The day 4 numbers are too early to tell.

Nacho, 10 days...20" (recently heard 25"), 20 days...60", 30 days...100". Benchmarks(averages) to reach 1K#. No 2 plants alike, looks or growth rates!!!! Grow 'em BIG!!!!! Peace, Wayne
