Heres a question?? for the other Wiz's out there. We put in beneficial fungi (mychorrizal) with ± others....for root enhancement then may spray fungacide for PM deterrence? Are we shooting ourselves in the foot??

Depends which fungicide & how it is applied (drenches are the worst). I posted the full list a while back but it's buried now. Try a search or maybe I can find it tonight.

i agree with steve. fungicides drenched will negate the time, money, and improvement you made by using the benefical fungi and innoculants.
leaf spraying on the other hand i have been told by several professionals, will not harm the soil . at least not enough to make a big difference.

Pap is right on with his comments. Yes it will when washed off cause a bit of set back but I see no other option. We have, to try and keep those important leaves protected.

I use very little harsh fungicide but have never gone a year without using some. To a noticable extent the Agro-K prevents as does kelp and very modest amounts, of molasses kept active, in the soil and on the leaves. The only molasses I now use is drenched, on the soil or rides along with my two tea applications.

I am not sure absolute non use, of fungicide, can be achieved. My hat is off, to anyone, who can go all the way, to finish, without some use. I only wish I could.

Doc,

We're trying low fat milk every 5-7 days for PM at the school.

It might actually work if I can be trusted to get there that often.
