How do you know when a larger pumpkin, about grapefruit size has aborted??? Does it get soft?? Does it just stop growing?? I am worried about the one I have that just doesn't seem to be doing much of anything the last 3 or so days, but that is the only sign I have from it so far.

Yeah, I think the one is done for. It sucks, it is the only one that was pollinated and growing on the one plant. The rest had died off as well. I may get some more, but will be late, and lucky to make it through the 90+ degree heat. Oh well, what can you do.

I have had three the size of a small beach ball roll over and rot. if no growth in three days it might be over for that one
