What are your thoughts about adding it now after the plants have pretty much rooted as a weed preventitive. has any one tried it what are your results. Good idea bad idea? With the legg in a cast for a while weeding is becoming pretty hard thought it might be worth a try mark

Corn gluten is great, Ive used it with my turnip greens and no weeds. Just remember that the corn gluten meal is a nitrogen source. Last year I used old leaves I saved from the previous fall and old carpet for walkways. Good luck. CroleyBend

I used it last year. It seemed to help some with weed control. The nitrogen stimulated vine and leaf growth, because some plants seemed to just explode in green growth.

10% Nitrogen...the label says use 20 lbs per 1000 sq ft.....= 2 lbs of Nitrogen...Yeah...I'd say the leaves will like that...but the fruit might too....BOOM!
