My best pumpkin is 16" circumfrence after 10 days. I had three others pollinated within three feet of each other on the main vine and terminated the smaller ones. Will this guy now take off? I know 16" is a little smaller than the expected norm, but I am hoping he will produce something decent. All three were 12" three days ago, and this one grew four inches while the others didn't do anything.

HERBIE a good prospect will be between 70 and 80 inches circ at 20 days anything over 80 at day 20 is an extra great start. dont get to hung up on anything at ten days. to many factors contribite to that 10 day grow. (extra pumpkins on plant, weather, temps, etc ) 20 days is the first key. next its 80 to 90. once it hits 80 to 90 inches the daily growth will start to climb rather quickly. remember some are great outta the gate and dont have the legs to finish, likewise some are slow starters and finish strong. pap pap
