Subject: Weather history 40's-00's.....

Just learned some very fascinating information from Channel 5 news here in Nashville... The weatherman pulled up a chart wihch compared the number of recorded days over 95 per year per decade....
Here's a summary:
40's - less than 10 50's - 49 60's -less than 12 70's - less than 20 80's - over 25 90's - less than 12 00's - over 20
I'd say we may be in another 'hot decade'... but there's definently been HOTTER.....
Time to do more research into 'heat management' and 'water management' for next year's growing season....... Every year I've learned more - and the gardens do better!!

Where is the History from 1940 ? ,,,, say back a couple of thousands yrs or more ! Does Al Gore have that info ?

They say the weather gos in 30 year cicles and around 2000 we have just entered a hot cycle so most likely the next 24 years will be above normal for someone that lives in the north and likes hot weather this is a good thing. but if you live in the south this maybe a bad thing. mark
