Has anyone ever used Tube Sand under their AG's?
This sand is not finely screened, and I don't want to tear up my pumpkin.

Hi. I don't know exactly what (tube) sand is ,but I have used regular sand before, not play sand and haven't really had any damage other than a nick here or there mainly from me touching or wiping the sand off the pumpkin. Best to you have a great season :) Michelle

if vic is right, you dont want to use that, you want the pumpkin to be able to move easily

It is just sand that comes in burlap-like plastic bags, which I had been using as weight in the bed of my truck.

I am trying some this year. It doesn't seem to bad, just a few larger pieces in it. Nothing that should hrut the pumpkin, I think. Check with me this fall and I will let you know how it worked.
