I have two pumpkins set on the main of my 603.5 Muller plant. The first is at day 10 with a 26" circ. The second is about two feet farter down the main, at day 7 with a 14" circ. The larger one put on almost 4" in circ. in the last day. The smaller one only grew a little over 1" circ. in the last day. Seems like a no brainer so far.....except the largest fruit is looking like it will be an ugly wheel shape. It has a protruding bump at the blossom. The smallest one has a nice round shape so far. Both are the same cross. If I do terminate the larger fruit, will the smaller one likely start growing more vigorously?

Doug let them both go until the second one reaches 10 or 15 days. Compare and make your decesion then, the second may be in the process of aborting. Bill
