I personnally feel that if you have a good september (Night temps above 55-60) you can still do almost as good as anyone. Your shorter day's is a slight concern. I would say a heavey hitter in your position could likely put out a 1000+ easily. But this late I would giver all you can and go for broke, you may blow it up or be the next big thing.

Shannon is right anyweight is possible depending on how much time and effort ,weather ect you want to put into it the major draw back is the amount of sun light i think thats why there haven't been any 1000 lbers pollinate after the 23 or 24th. but if one had the resoures lights heat good soil green house i think a 1000lber could be grown any time of the year. Honestly 500-800 lber could be grown with average skill level..mark Ps Prove me wrong and grow a 1500 lber best of luck:)

Wiz: Plenty of 700, 800 & 900+ fruit pollinated after 7/25. The biggest I could find is 980 Dill, pollinated 7/26. It'll take good growing weather in September, though... Good luck P.S. That grow dance might help, too...

OK I caught some crap for my comment. So the pessimistic person I am I figure 50% of all pumpkins never make it to weigh off day. I am sure statistics would prove this.

The last 2 Wyoming state records were pollinated around July 29 and were 648 and 673 lb. Both had about 500 sq ft of plant and hard frost hit before Sept 20 on both.
